This question is based off the various opinions of many friends of mine.
Is marriage valuable, or is it even worth it to get married?
On one hand, marriage is a beautiful union of two hearts and souls committing to one another for the rest of their lives (traditionally). Something like this has many benefits, as you can then make the decision to share as much as you like with that person. Your struggles become each others struggles and you can help to raise each other up when you're each at your lowest.
On the other hand, marriage is just a way to get the government involved in your personal matters, and can needlessly overcomplicate life. While small, the amount of changes one needs to go through to simply change a last name can be an utter pain. Some also may not enjoy the added weight that marriage adds to a relationship in general.
Let me know what your thoughts on marriage are! Good? Bad? Annoying? Completely worth it?
